Shot List

This is my shot list which I have drawn and annotated keeping in mind the suitability for my magazine genre. I have thought about each individual shot carefully making sure it relates to the genre of pop as well as my target audience.

Shot #1
The first shot I am going to take is a popular pose across all music magazine genres however, I feel that it relates well to pop music as it is quite bold and makes a statement. The model will be wearing nail polish, bold lipstick and bright coloured clothes.

Shot #2
The second shot was inspired by a billboard magazine cover which featured a main image of a pop artist. I found that the pose would fit my magazine well as it is quite feminine and empowering. This pose focusses more on the models hair and makeup.

Shot #3
This shot is very girly and will definitely draw readers in as it is gesturing towards the reader which would have a similar effect as the angle of gaze looking straight. The main focus of this image would be the pouting lips.

Shot #4
The fourth shot is also quite girly like the third shot. The model will be holding her hands in the shape of a heart which suggests femininity and love, this could relate to the contents of the magazine.

Shot #5
I have chosen this shot because it gives the reader a full view of the models outfit which is quite casual but colourful too. It is quite a confident and striking pose which relates well to the magazine genre.

Shot #6
This shot is perfectly suited to a pop magazine double page spread. This is because it allows some of the artists personality to come through in a casual and subtle way. The models outfit as well as hair and makeup would be clearly visible in this shot.
